As for the piece, here’s how it came together: The other day, I dreamt of being on this beautiful coastline before waking up to the sound of my alarm and a long day ahead of me. It inspired me to write about how my day’s going to unfold with some sea metaphors and imagery.

Okay y’all, at last, I decided to post my writing on Substack. But first, a couple things: 1. I’m unsure what direction I want this to go; truth is, I probably won’t keep at it for long. 2. I’m not looking to grow a platform (tbh, I don’t really use the app). I just wanted a space where it feels fit to post my thoughts and practice this hobby.
