Nifty 50
Details: ย
- Nifty failed to sustain its intraday gains and ended marginally lower amid broad-based selling pressure across sectors, barring FMCG and private banking stocks. The index traded positively during the first half; however, profit booking in the latter half erased most of the gains, leading to a flat close at 23,214.95, down by 0.12%.
- Resistance is positioned at 23,400, with immediate support at 22,900.
Bank Nifty
Details:
- Nifty Bank traded on a positive note during the first half of the session; however, profit booking in the latter half erased most of the gains. The index eventually ended marginally lower at the 55,100 level, down by 0.17%.
- Resistance is marked at 56,000 with vital support at 54,500.ย
Midcap and Smallcap
Details:
- Midcap and Smallcap indices opened on a positive note and traded in positive territory during the first half of the session. However, they faced resistance near the 14,230 level and eventually closed lower by 1.34% and 1.33% respectively.ย
- Key support levels are 13,800 for Nifty Midcap Select and 17,600 for Nifty Smallcap 100.ย
