The original1892 rifle was one of the strongest and well-designed lever actions of its era and came in various configurations, including special ordered custom models. It was widely used for decades as a hunting rifle or an all-around ranch rifle in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Our new gun features a Grade V/VI walnut stock and forend with steel shotgun buttplate, fully case colored receiver and a 24" octagon barrel. In this case the barrel was shortened to 21.75 inches and screwcut m15x1.0 metric and a knurled end cap made and fitted. All metalwork was re beadblasted to bring it back to as new condition . We fitted a brand new 4-12 x50 Leupold VX2 scope , which is a truly outstanding price of glass and represents fantastic value for money . . The moderator is an AS Utra North Star stainless steel unit and they are bombproof !!!!! This rifle has a lovely 2 stage trigger and the bore Has been deep cleaned and is prestine. To anyone interested: I have 3 Winchester Commemorative Lever Action rifles for sale. Two of the rifle boxes has never been opened; the other one the box came open from Old age but the rifle has never been taken out of the box since they were bought in the 70's. One rifle is the Buffalo Bill theme, the other is the Wells Fargo theme and the other is the Bicentennial theme. Will have to be bought on site as I will not ship them. $2400 for all three!
