Bid, Ask & Spread
These are terms that you must familiarise yourself with immediately before you start trading on any platform.
Bid: The price you SELL
Ask: The price you BUY (Higher than Bid)
Spread: Broker charges
Every pair has different spread set. Some brokers used fixed spreads and there are those that charge in the shape of floating trades or even, both.
Calculating Pips
PIPS means Points in Percentages!
10 PIPS = 100 POINTS
100 PIPS = 1000 POINTS
Example:
The current price is 1.0000. After a few hours price increased to 1.1000 which is an increase of 1000 points.
(1000 points = 100 pips)
Calculating Profit / Loss
(Lot size entry x Point = Total profit / loss)

What is Leverage & How to Use It?
Leverage is a feature that enables your trading strategy by using money that you loan. The goal is to make big profits!
Leverage Types
1:1 = 100%
1:50 = 2%
1:100 = 1%
1:200 = 0.5%
1:1000 = 0.1%
Remember, leverage comes with itβs risks as well if you donβt know how to utilise it.
You can overtrade, increase your chances of Margin Call (Total Loss) and the higher the leverage you take, the higher the risks.
Be sure to know what your risks are going to be like before going into the trade π€π»
