Europe was knocked cold in the WW2, literally ground under the tread of invading armies. Not just Germany, all of Europe. Bets have been on since the 60s & 70s as to whether Europe or the US has sunk deeper into the morass of decadence & liberal democracy. Europe at least had some excuse, we didn't. Alongside stories of individuals unleashing a micro-fraction of our fury against the Enemy in the West, we have seen news of the rising tide against the Enemies in the East. Dissatisfaction spreads in the West as inflation threatens livelihoods and food becomes unaffordable. Migrants again flood the borders. Energy prices soar in the face of bitter winter. An opportunity for us to light a fire, to fan the flames of revolution as our Eastern brothers reignite their national identities. A trend is beginning, a thing they can't yet deal with.
