Key Responsibilities:                  Rapporteur Duties - Watch and listen to a variety of videos, building a deep understanding of content presented in Amharic and English. - Establish a strong rapport with the material, ensuring a nuanced and accurate interpretation of key messages.                  Real-time Reporting - Attend workshops and events to capture real-time information, discussions, and outcomes. - Provide on-the-spot reporting to ensure timely documentation of events.                   Written Reports - Generate comprehensive reports summarizing the content of videos, workshops, and events. - Clearly articulate key points and takeaways in both Amharic and English.                   Collaborative Analysis - Collaborate with team members to share insights and collaborate on in-depth analyses of video content and event dynamics. - Offer valuable perspectives to enhance overall understanding.                    Language Proficiency - Demonstrate fluency in both Amharic and English, with a focus on maintaining cultural nuances and linguistic accuracy. Qualifications: - Fluency in both Amharic and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages. - Proven ability to establish rapport with diverse content and effectively convey messages. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. - Previous experience in a rapporteur role or related field is highly desirable (not required) Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Communication, Linguistics, Media Studies, etc.) - Fresh graduate (2013, 2014, 2015 EC graduates) - Experience in video analysis, event reporting, or similar roles. - In-depth knowledge of Amharic-speaking cultures and communities.
