If the senate approve this bill on May 7, that means my parents will never be able to apply for tourist visa to visit us and their grandkid. This however is one of the smallest complications as it also stops many talented and skilled Iranians from coming to Australia and contribute to the Australian community. It is evident how much Iranians are contributing to Australia in various aspects and to stop their ability to apply for visitor, student, skilled and many other visas is simply a discrimination and will adversely affect Australia in long term missing on having talented and skilled people from Iran to contribute to their country while also makes Iranian citizens residing here in Australia heartbroken and second thought on staying in Australia. Australian people can not withstand racism and discrimination of any kind and nor should the respected Senators. This bill is simply banning all Iranian citizens the chance to apply for majority of visa types and come to Australia legally. Iran government will not be under any pressure to change their opinion on accepting deported Iranians just because of this bill. Iran regime does not care about their own people and for Australian Government to think this Bill will force Iran to change their opinion is simply not effective at all.
