Вони обігнали команди з Прінстону, Стенфорду, Колумбійського та Каліфорнійського університетів, а також університету Чикаго та інших топових інституцій. Олімпіада традиційно відбулась онлайн у січні. Dear colleagues, there is still time to register for the IOP Advanced School in Soft Condensed Matter ‘Solutions in the Summer’. The School, organised by the IOP Liquids and Complex Fluids Group, will take place on 5-9 July 2021 as a virtual event. The aim of this School is to provide a comprehensive foundation for researchers in the field of soft matter, liquids and complex fluids. The lectures will introduce key topics of current interest together with the theoretical, experimental and computer simulation approaches used to address them. The School is directed towards postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds including physics, chemistry, chemical engineering and biophysics. Within the UKRATOP project, we invite applications for several scholarships available for young Ukrainian researchers (MSc students and PostDocs) to support joint research of KAU and IFW Dresden/TU Dresden. The scholarships are offered in one of three specializations (materials, experiment, or theory) to: - 5 MSc students (6-month stays at IFW Dresden): ca. 940 Euro/month + enrolment and health insurance, - 1 PostDoc (12-month stays at IFW Dresden): 2,500 Euro/month.
