Dear Students and Colleagues,   Tomorrow, May 19, we are hosting Professor John Thwaites AM, as the keynote speaker at the Student Research Society Conference. Professor Thwaites will present on the topic "The Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) - How we can help achieve the SDGs.”     Professor Thwaites will discuss: 1. The Net Zero on Campus Guide (recently released to help universities achieve net zero carbon emissions) 2. How universities can contribute to the SDGs 3. Students and SDSN Youth 4. SDSN Leadership Council Statement on the SDGs   During the conference, students from WIUT and other universities of Uzbekistan will present their research and projects. Dear STUDENTS (Level 3, 6 and 7), As you know the University of Westminster is a degree-awarding authority and owner of the process for issuance of students’ official documents (certificate/diploma/transcript). According to the procedures, the production of official documents in UoW will be started right after all final outcomes are released and dispatched to Tashkent within the established timeframe. Kindly be informed that the Academic Registrar’s Office is about to check the profiles of CIFS and final-year students (Level 6 and 7) on SRS, as the academic year 2022/2023 draws to a close. Only Foundation certificate/transcript, Bachelor and Master diploma/transcript will be granted to students with a class of 2023. WIUT will soon be receiving parcels with diplomas and transcripts from UoW. To minimize name/surname discrepancies and/or other data mismatches that may be reflected in your official documents, we highly recommend checking your SRS profiles and ensuring your name/surname, DoB is spelt correctly. In case you find any typo/error in your profile, you are kindly asked to leave a request via the links provided in this email by the 15th of May 2023.
