| 15 |  On this day in 1991 🇺🇦 Soviet hardliners launched their coup in Moscow in an attempt to preserve the collapsing USSR.
That same day in Kyiv, Ukrainian nationalists began organising self-defence units that would become UNSO.
35 years later, the UNSO name is still present in the war against Russia.
In March 2026, volunteers associated with UNSO formed the Ukrainian National Self-Defense Assault Company within Tactical Group “Revanche”.

Na našich cestách po Ukrajine sme toto leto okrem mnohých múzeí a pamiatok navštívili aj podnik Kaban Pub v meste Stryj, ktorý bol založený vojnovými veteránmi a okrem iného slúži aj ako miesto, kde sa konajú najrôznejšie vlastenecké akcie, koncerty a stand-upy. Podnik je úzko spätý z jednotkou Karpatská Sič🇺🇦a ide o lokalitu, kde sa často stretávajú práve vojaci a vojnoví veteráni.
Kaban Pub je pomenovaný podľa dobrovoľníka a nacionalistu z radov Karpatskej Siče🇺🇦- zástupcu veliteľa druhej sotne útočného bataliónu KS, Nazara "Kabana" Pidkovyča, ktorý hrdinsky padol počas bojov o Makijivku. Kaban odišiel na front plniť svoju vlasteneckú povinnosť bezprostredne ihneď po začatí ruskej invázie vo februári 2022. Zúčastnil sa mnohých vojenských operácií a položil svoj život za Ukrajinu vo februári 2024, kedy po ťažkom poranení hlavy upadol do kómy. Po týždni v bezvedomí svoj boj prehral.

Naša skromná návšteva bola prijatá veľmi srdečne a na nástenke s nášivkami sa dnes vedľa ukrajinských jednotiek a spolkov vyníma aj logo Filantrop group ☠️.
Postarali sa o nás vojnový veterán Dima a zakarpatská rodáčka Irys.
Dima Kasjanov je na svoju službu v armáde hrdý, no pre zranenie dnes musí chodiť o barlách a podstúpiť operáciu bedrového kĺbu, na ktorú zatiaľ nemá finančné prostriedky.
Týmto by sme vás chceli poprosiť o pomoc pre veterána Dimu. Čím skôr sa mu podarí našetriť potrebnú sumu na kvalitnú protézu, tým skôr sa bude môcť vrátiť do bežného života. 🙏🏻
