Droidspaces v7.0.0 has been released! 🔥
- feat: Anland Wayland display support..!
- perf: 10x faster container boots and stops..!

- feat(net): IPv6 support in NAT mode (NAT66), dual-stack NAT and gateway
- feat(net): new macvlan network mode
- feat: check --format for machine-readable capability probes
- refactor: --termux-x11 renamed to --x11
- fix: run and enter now return the real exit status and survive ^C
- fix: GPU mode now binds binderfs nodes; HIDL services reach containers
- fix: per-container lifecycle locking and cleaner teardowns
- app: Material 3 Expressive redesign and a rebuilt container config screen
- app: in-app rootfs downloader; exports now keep config and environment variables

PS: We know Mali sucks; and with our duct tapes, KDE starts; but it isn't daily drivable. Apps like browsers instantly crash; or artifacts happen. I just gave up debugging this piece of shit as it's not worth the time. Anyone can figure further out; I've did the hard part.

Here is a guide from all of our findings: How to get a container to detect a Mali GPU: https://github.com/ravindu644/Droidspaces-Mali/

The next version will be v7.0.0, not v6.7.0 🚬 It will be released within the next 24 hours. If your language still has untranslated strings, please translate them as quickly as you can: https://hosted.weblate.org/engage/droidspaces/

This is a most wanted feature for power users that has been requested for months; the next version of Droidspaces will natively support it! Introducing the Macvlan networking mode.! 🥳 With this, containers can directly request an IP address from your router itself instead of relying on another layer of networking managed by Droidspaces. Go check it out: https://t.me/DroidspacesCI/908?single

What do you think about the newly organized container configuration menu?

What do you think about the newly organized container configuration menu?

PS: Rootfs cooks can now integrate the recommended configuration to use their rootfs release simply by placing a container.config with their recommended configuration inside the root of the tarball.

With this CI release: - Exporting the container will be 200% faster - Installing the container will be 200% faster - You'll be able to export a container with its configuration preserved and install it with the same config you had when you exported it! Droidspaces v6.7.0 will be purely optimized for raw performance. Every millisecond matters!

New onboarding page of Droidspaces :)

Guys! I want you to try out this CI build: https://t.me/DroidspacesCI/882?single We've done a lot of optimization to the core container runtime, and now a container boots in literally milliseconds! 🔥 I'm talking about the 150–300ms range 🗿

From now on, you won't be able to use the Droidspaces app without even having a droidspaces-compatible kernel.

From now on, you won't be able to use the Droidspaces app without even having a droidspaces-compatible kernel.

It seems like you can't enable CONFIG_CFS_BANDWIDTH and CONFIG_CGROUP_PIDS in GKI kernels at all without compiling all the kernel modules and wiring them perfectly or up using the CRC patch, which obviously I don't recommend. So, 99% of GKI kernel users will enjoy 2 yellow X marks in the requirements check page forever 💀
