Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis (Ansarallah) toward Riyadh early on Saturday, according to Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki.
Al-Malki said the Houthis also attempted to target "civilian areas" and infrastructure in Bish, Taif, Farasan, and Yanbu, but the attacks were thwarted by Saudi air defenses.
The Coalition said it reserves the right to take measures it considers appropriate to deter further Houthi attacks.

North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un has called for the country’s artillery forces to develop the “most concentrated and destructive” capabilities.
Kim said North Korean artillery must possess massive, versatile offensive capabilities capable of both deterring and fighting a war, while urging the munitions industry to play a larger role in building the “most powerful army.”
He also ordered further modernization of North Korea’s weapons industry, including greater use of artificial intelligence in offensive and defensive systems, improved armor and automation for artillery weapons, and upgraded production capabilities.
