| 5 | Come with an idea. Leave with a startup.
Cursor AI Hackathon Ethiopa
We’re partnering with Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MinT) and Ethio telecom to bring builders together for Ethiopia’s largest AI hackathons.
We're looking for idea-stage AI startups. Not polished products, not finished projects. Just a real problem, real users, and a team ready to build fast. If you've been sitting on an idea, this is the weekend to start it.
You'll have 20 hours to turn it into a working MVP, with credits and AI tools from Cursor and our AI credit sponsors: Addis AI, ElevenLabs, Fal, Whisperflow, and more. Food, mentors, and support are covered the whole time.
We're taking 60 teams. Have a team? Register with your team code. Coming alone? Tell us your skills and we'll match you into a team of 5, or fill your team's open spots.
Incubation partners will be in the room too, including MinT, the Addis Ababa University Startup Center, Gheero, and others, ready to back promising teams with mentorship, workspace, and follow-up. Investors will be there looking for ideas worth funding.
Before you apply, read the overview on the Luma page carefully.

| 7 | Marketing Lesson #1: People Don't Buy Products. They Buy Value.
Imagine it's 1876.
Alexander Graham Bell invents the telephone. To many people, it looked like nothing more than a wooden box connected by wires. Some businesses dismissed it because they couldn't see why anyone would need it.
But the real value was never the device itself.
But when a doctor realized they could call a hospital instantly to save a life, or
A business owner could close a deal in minutes instead of waiting weeks. Families could hear the voices of loved ones from miles away.
The telephone didn't become successful because of its features. It became successful because it solved important problems.
This is one of the most important principles in marketing:
Customers don't buy products.
Customers buy better outcomes.
They don't buy:
A phone; they buy connection.
A car; they buy convenience and freedom.
A mattress; they buy better sleep.
A course; they buy knowledge, confidence, and career opportunities.
Value is created when the benefit someone receives is far greater than the cost they pay.
Before you try to sell anything, ask yourself:
"What problem does this solve?"
If you can clearly answer that question, you're not just selling a product you are communicating value.
Every time you look at your smartphone today, you are looking at an evolution that started with a market problem in 1876. | 62 |

What is After Query ?
AfterQuery is a platform where you earn money by helping train AI. The workflow is simple: you get assigned tasks, review or generate expert-level responses, and get paid per task or hourly depending on the job. Most work involves checking AI outputs, contributing data, or validating answers in your field of expertise.

| 12 | CodeLore V0 is outttt 🔥
Hey everyone 👋
I've been working on something called CodeLore, and v0 is finally out 😊
CodeLore is a place where programming concepts are explained using stories, chaos, and weird analogies so they're easier to understand and remember.
You can:
✅ Read lores from the community
✅ Write and publish your own
✅ like the good ones
✅ Search by topic or tag
✅ Share them anywhere
✅ Install it as a mobile app
Built with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Framer Motion, and Supabase.
Honestly, this started as a personal project to store the creative analogies I come up with while learning.
Later, I thought it would be cool to make it available for others who want a place to save and share their own explanations.
If you're someone who likes getting creative while learning, give it a try 👇

I'd be happy to hear your feedback and suggestions 😊

| 16 | Interfaces : Go's Coolest Feature
🤔 Imagine you're building a notification system.
Today it's Email. Tomorrow it's SMS. Next week it's Push Notifications.
Instead of rewriting your code every time, Go says:
"I don't care what you are. Just be able to Send()." 💚
That's the beauty of interfaces—they focus on behavior, not the type.
Write once. Plug in anything.
