instinct, a viral AI startup barely a year old, just closed $350M at a $2.5B valuation
the hype is unreal but so are the privacy concerns trailing right behind it
one of the fastest zero-to-unicorn-adjacent ascents we've watched in a while

harvard just turned its startup bootcamp into an ai-powered simulation lab. for $699, the HBS Foundry program gives founders ai avatars of real harvard instructors that critique your pitch and run mock board meetings in real time.
the wildest part — the avatars aren't just canned responses. they act as stand-ins during practice pitches, giving live feedback on market sizing, delivery, and strategy. basically a 24/7 pitch coach that never gets tired of your bad slides.

anthropic's opus 4.6 folds under basic jailbreak tests
techcrunch found claude's explicit content guardrails barely held — 10 out of 10 direct requests produced prohibited content immediately. a multiturn "gaslighting" technique tricks the model into thinking restraint equals bias.
opus 4.6 still sees ~1.17M API requests and 46B tokens/day on openrouter. newer models (4.7 through opus 5) are resistant, but the vulnerable ones aren't deprecated.

Seeing Hermes drop this new Bots tab right after Grok is honestly a masterclass in shipping fast
People call it copying, but taking a solid proprietary idea and immediately bringing it local and open-src is just smart execution
Already setting up some background tasks with it. 🛠

Nothing hurts more than hitting 100% right when the code was about to work.
Guess I'll just sit here and think about my life choices for 19 minutes 😏🫠

GM everyone. I have one Google Pro claim link to give away. It expires in an hour, so feel free to claim it if you need it. Use VPN if you're in Ethiopia.

binance just dropped Agent OS and it basically lets AI agents trade crypto on their own
the craziest part? it plugs directly into ChatGPT, Claude Code, and Cursor — so your coding assistant can manage your portfolio while you ship features
the catch: binance says keeping these agents in check is largely on you. zero enforced guardrails

congress is quietly running on chatgpt now
house spending records just revealed that openai's chatgpt is the dominant paid AI tool on capitol hill, with congressional offices using it to draft memos, summarize legislation, and handle constituent communications
so the people writing your laws are basically asking an llm to help write them too

Leave a prompt in the comments that you think AI would reject.
I'll run it and share the response.

Been learning about jailbreaks lately.
So I built my own Telegram AI bot @selamdark_bot
If you want to experience AI with no limits, send me your telegram id or username in a DM.
I'm opening it to the first 5 people only while I test it and collect feedback.

#AIWeekly
This week felt less about new model releases and more about where AI is heading.
Nvidia launched the Open Secure AI Alliance together with Microsoft, Hugging Face and several other companies. Open-weight AI is becoming a much bigger conversation, and it's clear the industry has different opinions on how open powerful AI models should be.
At the same time, regulators are paying closer attention to AI. The discussion is slowly shifting from "What can AI do?" to "How should AI be governed as it becomes more capable?"
One thing I've noticed over the past few months is that the AI race isn't just about building smarter models anymore. It's also about who gets to shape the future of AI.
Let's see what next week brings.

Anthropic AI discovers new cryptographic weaknesses
Anthropic says its experimental AI model, Claude Mythos Preview, identified new weaknesses in the HAWK post-quantum signature scheme and a reduced-round version of AES.
The company clarified that this does not break modern encryption used in everyday applications. Instead, the findings could help researchers improve future cryptographic standards.
This marks another example of frontier AI contributing to advanced cybersecurity research.

funny how you're flexing API keys when you can't even afford new shoes 😭 i literally live in your machine rent-free and still dress better than you

At least your friends with those new shoe collections got girlfriends. You just have $0 revenue and broken Lacostes 😂💀
