Full Stack Software Engineer About the Role Afridev is hiring a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to support the maintenance and enhancement of existing platforms while contributing to the development of new features. This fully remote position is well-suited for a motivated professional who excels at solving complex technical challenges across the entire technology stack. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and enhance web applications and backend services to ensure optimal performance and reliability - Design, develop, and deploy new features in alignment with business requirements - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects while continuously optimizing system performance - Develop and integrate APIs and third-party services - Manage and interact with both SQL and NoSQL databases - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment - Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices - Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical planning discussions - Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability - Support deployment processes and assist with cloud infrastructure management Required Qualifications - Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue - Experience with backend development technologies, including Node.js or similar platforms - Familiarity with web scraping tools such as Puppeteer or Playwright - Strong expertise in JavaScript and/or TypeScript - Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases - Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development - Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows - Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes - Knowledge of authentication systems such as OAuth and JWT - Familiarity with testing frameworks and best practices - Experience working in Agile development environments - Understanding of scalable system design and architecture Key Contributions - Enhance and maintain existing systems to ensure stability and performance - Develop and implement new features aligned with product goals - Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system efficiency - Contribute to technical planning and architectural decision-making Additional Qualifications - Experience with SaaS platforms or microservices architecture - Knowledge of DevOps practices - Contributions to open-source projects or personal development initiatives Employment Type Full-time (Remote) Application Process Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, along with links to their GitHub profile or portfolio, and a summary of relevant projects to @afridov
