No because whenever we’re talking about people who do terrible things some people’s first response is to say “That doesn’t represent my religion” Why is your first instinct to defend your religion instead of empathizing with the victims of those actions?

Why is defending their religion or sexuality people’s first priority when their country and those in need deserve their attention more?
