TOXIC PRODUCTIVITY🌿
Work-home, home-work—everywhere it’s just tasks. In this endless loop, we forget about real life, ourselves, and rest. That’s how toxic productivity takes hold. We unconsciously take on too much, misjudge our limits, and blame ourselves for even the smallest break. Anxiety creeps in, we’re unhappy with our results, our self-esteem takes a hit, and motivation fades.
🍀How to cope?
• Schedule breaks during work, even 10–15 minutes.
• Take time off. If things are spiraling, even an unscheduled one. And rest without touching work tasks.
• Rest on weekends, and also outside of working hours.
• Limit time on social media to avoid the “everyone else is more productive than me” trap.
• Establish a routine. For example: sleep at least 7 hours a night.
• Eat three meals a day.
• Set aside time to meet with friends and family.
• Don’t define yourself by work alone.

And so, while my husband sits there, silent and glued to the computer, I, on my phone, go online to a dating site.
There I meet my dream: sociable, smart! He messages me in the chat, “I love you!” He even sends emojis.
He doesn’t have any bad habits. But he’s lonely… He dedicates poems to me! (Not the kind of husband material, that’s for sure!)

Three ways to lift your mood:
Music. Put together a playlist of your favorite tracks that energize you. No room for gloom—sad music will only fuel your already-down mood.
Thank yourself. A simple exercise to remind you that things aren’t as bad as they seem, even when everything feels like it’s slipping away. Make a list of ten things you can thank yourself for.
Contrast shower. The temperature swing wakes you up and boosts serotonin—the happiness hormone. Just 3–5 minutes under the water is enough to feel the lift.

Take time to connect with good people. It won’t come on its own. Time is a strange thing. It tends to fill up with work, chores, and bustle. It feels endless. People aren’t. So we have to learn to stretch time, to squeeze in moments of conversation with those who are dear and interesting to us.
Call just to chat.
Ask how they’re doing.
Invite them for tea.
Stretch the time and find ten minutes for a walk around the city with a friend after work and for a cup of tea for two with a sister or a brother.
It may seem that such minutes aren’t important.
And in truth, that’s exactly what everything rests on.

Willpower is self-control.
To develop it, you need consistency and discipline.
Right now, set a simple yet uncomfortable goal for a week and sharpen your consistency.
This could be a week without chocolate, five new English words, or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
After seven days, once you’ve proven you can hit mini-goals, set a bigger challenge.
And move toward it with the same systematic approach.

5 rules to become a free and strong personality:
➖ I consistently evaluate my own behavior, words, emotions, and thoughts, and take responsibility for the consequences. I am responsible for my life, not for others. It’s best for me to know what’s good for me and what’s not.
➖ I choose not to apologize or explain the motives behind my actions to others. If I acted that way, there were reasons behind it.
➖ I decide for myself how much I hold others accountable for what they do. People around me can do whatever they want, but that was their decision to act that way, not mine. Therefore they will face the consequences of their actions themselves.
➖ I have the right to change my mind at any moment, and I don’t need anyone’s permission or approval to do so.
➖ I’m willing to make mistakes and fix them. I’m not perfect, which means I can do things wrong. But I can also make things right.

Remember three rules. First. If you ever find yourself in the wrong story, don’t burn yourself—burn bridges. And as you drop the match, walk away without looking back at the flames.
Second. Value yourself. Respect yourself so much that no one feels tempted to treat you disrespectfully.
Third. No taboos. Give yourself permission to do whatever you want. Put a black dress on over your bare skin, paint your lips in your favorite color, sip champagne and strong coffee, dance on the bar, wear heels and winged eyeliner, or run barefoot through the snow to the man waiting for you. You are allowed to be different. You are allowed to be yourself. Live as you feel.
