Turn off the autopilot
A lot of what we do every day follows familiar patterns: brushing our teeth, making coffee, tidying the apartment, commuting to work, picking up the kid from kindergarten, and so on.
There’s nothing wrong with routines—they save energy and free our minds from unnecessary effort.
But we often miss the small, simple things. For example, if you ask us what we saw on the way to work, we probably can’t describe it clearly, because we just glide from point A to point B and barely remember the journey.
And the worst part is that this happens every single day—that’s life on autopilot.
⚡️To break out of it, mix things up: do things differently, avoid repetition, try something you’ve never done before. That helps form new neural connections and, in turn, new thoughts, new emotions, and a brighter life.

WHY DO WE FEAR?
Fear is a natural physiological response of the body to danger.
Fear isn’t unique to humans; many mammals fear storms and thunder, and unfamiliar objects. However, unlike primates, humans fear not only real threats but also imagined ones.
The extreme level of fear can lead to the development of phobias — an obsessive fear of certain objects, movements, actions, and situations. Phobias turn an ordinary fear response into something that is hard or even impossible to control.
If a person remains in a constant state of fear, it can trigger somatic illnesses and weaken the immune system. When people are exhausted, they perceive every event as more burdensome. And fear itself makes a person’s life feel incomplete.

I don’t like the word “love.” You can love summer, rain, the sea, and husky dogs. People love a lot—work, friends, and their car. They love strawberries with cream and strong coffee with cigarettes.
