Why do I care so much about what others think?
Caring about what others think is basically a bid for their approval, a check that the path you chose is the right one. It’s also a way to dodge responsibility for your own choices. Because your choices deserve to be owned and defended.
You don’t need to shape yourself to fit other people’s desires or opinions. And if your view contradicts theirs—that’s not a problem. We are different.
If there are people around you who judge you or don’t support you, you have every right to distance yourself from that kind of behavior.
It’s impossible to please everyone.

I’ve always forgiven everyone.
I’ve had countless chances to get revenge, and I never took them. It’s not because I’m weak or a coward. I simply know that revenge brings only negativity. It won’t restore what I lost, won’t ease my pain or my hurt. If I retaliate, I’d become just like the person who betrayed me. And why invite that negativity inside when there’s already so much of it around me, like dirt?
That’s why I never hold grudges against anyone, and I certainly never wish harm on anyone. I genuinely forgave all my offenders and betrayers, once and for all, erasing them from my life for good.
