We speak about the wrong thing...
And the soul, meanwhile, is breaking apart... tearing inside and shouting: “Say what you really think! Don’t stay silent!”... Only life’s rules have their own say: “You can think whatever you want. But don’t say it!”... We lock our soul behind a barn-door lock... so no one can see our thoughts... Why are we so afraid to say it all to someone’s face?... Why try to hold back our own feelings?... We’ve grown used to talking about the wrong things TODAY... Maybe tomorrow...

➖They say a woman who skims on herself invites others to skim on her even more. So remember: spending on yourself is allowed, important, and necessary.
➖Allow yourself to want things—out loud and in writing. My three-year-old son insists: "Mom, I want a trampoline." He doesn't care whether I can buy a trampoline or not; what matters to him is voicing his desire. Believe it or not, you once knew how to do that too.
➖Re-train yourself to think differently if your old money beliefs hold you back more than they help. It's never too late to start, so you can live normally for the time you have left.
➖Money is about love, energy, passion, and joy. Give it meanings that warm you inside and make you want to dance.
➖Don't force yourself to be generous against your will—money doesn't like it when you part with it with a heavy heart.

You can invest as much as you want in someone’s education, and yet they might end up on the couch, grappling with depression. So where did that education go? You can overwhelm them with tutors, grades, and results. But if they lack self-confidence, if anxiety and depression haunt them, what’s the point? Psychological health, well-being, and resilience—the ability to withstand stress, adapt to change, and bounce back—are the most important qualities a person can have in today’s fast-changing world. Far more important than the amount of knowledge or success in any field.
