Many people search for a partner hoping to fix their inner struggles. They naively believe romantic relationships will cure their boredom, loneliness, or sense of meaninglessness. They hope a lover will fill the emptiness inside. What a profound misconception! When we choose a partner with such expectations, we inevitably end up resenting them for failing to meet our unspoken demands. And then what? We move on to the next person, and the next—endlessly chasing, never satisfied. Or we retreat into solitude, blaming fate for our unhappiness. To avoid this cycle, we must first learn to face our own lives without waiting for someone else to do it for us.

I'm realizing more and more how much I need attention—
A simple “good morning,” a casual “zip up your jacket.” Tiny things, effortless, yet so precious and meaningful. How do you get through a day without feeling that someone’s thinking of you, that someone loves you? It’s hard to stay positive or motivated when you’re not receiving warmth.
Everyone carries some reserve of warmth from the past—care from parents, tender moments, meaningful connections. But it’s not endless. It fades. And like anything else, our inner world needs care and feeding ❤️

Just let go of these 4 things to become happier:
1. Release the need to always be right. So many of us would rather damage meaningful relationships, cause pain, and create stress than accept a different perspective. Let go of the compulsion to win every argument.
2. Surrender control. Stop trying to manage every situation, event, or person in your life—whether family, coworkers, or strangers. Allow people to be exactly who they are.
3. Let go of guilt. Stop blaming others for what you have or lack, for how you feel or don’t feel. Stop wasting energy and take full responsibility for your own life.
4. Stop the negative self-talk. How many people harm themselves simply by letting negative thoughts and emotions take the wheel? Your mind shouldn’t be your enemy.

No matter what’s happening—on the kitchen counter, beyond the window, in the skies above, or inside your own head—there’s always a chance to look in the mirror, shrug without breaking eye contact, and say to your reflection: «This — is how it is.»

Oddly enough, you don’t have to watch, read, listen to, or try everything in life.

Self-restraint is the quickest path to inner clarity and true understanding.
The highest form of self-sabotage? Grabbing everything just in case—stockpiling "wealth" for a rainy day.
Then drowning under its weight, frustrated, wondering why the journey feels so heavy.
I often remind myself: “Beware of your desires, for they have a way of coming true.”

Relationships: Following Your Own Script
Where do you learn how to build healthy relationships? Schools and universities don’t teach it. That leaves family as the primary—sometimes the only—source of knowledge about something that’s arguably the most important part of our lives.
Children rarely develop relationship models different from those of their parents. These patterns get passed down, generation after generation.
Bad examples are contagious—especially when there’s no alternative in sight. To avoid being trapped in the same type of relationship over and over, remember: there’s no single “right” way to relate to others. The family you grew up in is just one example of how life can be lived. You’re free to choose a different path, keeping only the best parts from your parents’ example.
And even if you came from a healthy, supportive family, there still comes a moment when you must recognize: your parents aren’t perfect.
