Despite the absence of hard data, field indicators strongly suggest that 3–4 terrorists, including children of exfiltrated cadres from Chenab, crossed into Jammu after October 2024. 6. Two LeT Associates Arrested With Arms in Bandipora Srinagar, Aug 17: Security forces apprehended two Lashkar-e-Taiba associates during a joint naka operation in Malpora Nowgam area of Sumbal, Bandipora, on Sunday. Officials said that during the searches, arms and ammunition were recovered, including two Chinese grenades, two UBGL grenades, and 10 AK rounds. The arrested individuals have been identified as Ab Majid Gojri of SK Bala and Ab Hamid Dar of Vijpara.
