Sharing our day two recap from Kazan, together with Studio Slow x Yandex Ultima Market: We intentionally skipped breakfast (a well-planned lie-in), so headed straight for a traditional Tatar lunch — diving into chak-chak, Tatar-style azu, echpochmak, and kash-telya. Next up: a city tour. We wandered around Lake Kaban, strolled through the old town, and wrapped up at Studio Slow’s store on Chernyshevskogo Street. Once a historic pharmacy, this space now draws everyone who resonates with the project’s vision. Over coffee, we overheard whispers of a local gem — the “Smena” bookstore. Impossible to walk past. We caved and left with a couple of books on art and cinema. The day ended with a cozy dinner, quiet conversation, and then — packing our bags for the journey home.
