Tonight, we revisit one of the most striking collections from the 2000s at Christian Dior under Galliano’s creative direction.
Drawing from the opulence of the Belle Époque and the refined elegance of the Golden Age, Galliano unveiled dramatically sculpted silhouettes in his Fall 2000 lineup.
The runway was alive with voluminous gowns, textured jackets, and intricate details that pulled the audience into a cohesive, cinematic narrative. Notably, for some of the gowns, Galliano used over 100 meters of fabric—just to capture the full grandeur and richness of each look.
