The team chose a truly magical venue for the debut of their new Parisienne collection: the Ethnographic Museum. Towering columns, ornate wall moldings, velvet curtains, and painted ceilings brought the elegance of Paris to life. The collection featured classic silhouettes and cocktail dresses—from plush velvet and fur to intricate cuts and flowing fabrics. Special mention goes to the accessories on the runway: expert styling with pearls and bold jewelry elevated each look. The story follows a trio of governesses whose arrival disrupts the quiet lives of children and their families. Directed by Joe Talbot, who co-wrote the screenplay with writer Olivia Gatwood, the film will begin production in Spain. The project is a collaboration between A24 and BBC Film.

I’ve become a real fan of French photographer Pierre de Galland’s work. Since 1968, Pierre taught philosophy at a high school while pursuing photography—his true passion—on the side. Friends jokingly called him “the invisible man” for his quiet, unobtrusive presence, which allowed him to capture delicate, fleeting moments of everyday life. Today, his photographs fill the pages of some thirty books. Through them, Le Galland conveys warmth and humor, expressing the tenderness and emotion sparked by chance encounters.
