You are different in the way a storm was different from a calm sea. In the way a wound was different from a scar. In the way a secret was different from a confession. But i cant tell you bcuz you can't differentiate nor am i good at explaining without sounding fake.

Some people don’t feel new.
They feel familiar in a way that’s almost uncomfortable. Like you’ve met them before, except you haven’t.
Not because they’re exactly like you, but because they carry the same things differently.
You hide what hurts you. They overshare it.
You avoid people when life gets heavy. They cling harder.
Different reactions, same feeling underneath.
It’s strange how humans work like that.
We think we’re these completely separate people living completely different lives, but sometimes you meet someone and realize you’re both fighting the same battle in opposite directions.
Like a reflection flipped across a mirror. The loud person and the quiet person can both be scared of being ignored. The cold person and the overly nice person can both be scared of rejection. One asks for love too much. One acts like they never needed it at all. Same emptiness. Different performance. That’s why some people understand you too quickly. They recognize the shape of your thoughts because somewhere inside them, they carry a similar shape too. And honestly, the people who annoy you the most sometimes are just reflections of parts of yourself you don’t want to look at anymore. That’s why it feels personal even when it shouldn’t. Maybe people are less like strangers and more like the same story told in different ways. Different faces, different voices, different timing — but somehow everyone looks familiar but not that familiar?

People pleasers often look kind on the surface, but sometimes the skill itself comes from something darker: constant judgment.
You cannot become excellent at managing people’s emotions without studying them like weather patterns. You learn which tone keeps someone calm, which sentence earns approval, which version of yourself gets rewarded. That level of adaptation requires hyper-awareness — and hyper-awareness quietly turns into evaluation.
A chronic people pleaser notices everything: who is disappointed, who is insecure, who wants power, who wants comfort, who needs admiration.
And after years of bending around others, resentment starts collecting in places they pretend are compassion.
Because pleasing is rarely pure generosity.
A lot of it is survival mixed with control.
They are not always “nice” because they love people. Sometimes they are nice because they fear rejection, conflict, abandonment, guilt, exposure. So they perform emotional labor constantly, and eventually they begin to hate the audience they perform for.
That is why some people pleasers become deeply judgmental internally.
They start thinking:
> “I know exactly what you need from me, and I know how predictable you are.”
The frightening part is that they are often correct.
A manipulative person studies others to exploit them.
A people pleaser studies others to avoid losing safety.
But both become experts in reading human weakness.
And when someone spends years swallowing their real reactions, honesty rots into silent criticism. They smile externally while internally keeping score of everyone’s selfishness, neediness, hypocrisy, and emotional demands.
Not because they were born hateful —
but because self-erasure creates bitterness.
A person who is never allowed to exist honestly eventually starts despising the people they keep shrinking for.
And im still a yapper

Me trying to decide if I'm gonna stay calm or if I'm about to undo all my personal growth and say something so horrible that will stick with them forever

Cuz i do LOVE people saying ‘just communicate’ like the problem wasn’t that both of us were communicating perfectly — one in passive aggression and the other in psychological warfare.

Nothing says emotional maturity like needing three business days to recover from a conversation where nobody even raised their voice.

Got handed emotional unavailability, mixed signals, and three business days of silence,
and i be sitting there whispering,
“Maybe they’re just scared of how deeply they feel.”
Uh NO. Maybe they dont text back why should i be reading between the lines like it's my job to do so!
Someone showing basic human decency suddenly doesn't means
the universe wrote their names together in cursive even if it so fuckin seems like it ( so inconvenient )

Me and you? We got no treasures just traumas and trust issues that we're gonna hand down like family heirlooms.

Does a heavy heart makes a writer? Or it's just the chaos stitched into your skin before you even learned your own name that makes you wordsmith

Rebuilding yourself from scratch is such a beautiful concept in theory.
Very cinematic. Very “rise from the ashes.”
What they don’t mention is that half the time you’re not a phoenix —
you’re just sleep deprived, emotionally constipated,
and pretending a personality crisis is “character development.”
Everyone romanticizes rebuilding until they realize
it mostly consists of staring at the ceiling at 2 a.m.
trying to figure out which parts of you were genuine
and which were just survival tactics with good handwriting.
And the “starting over” part?
Adorable phrase.
Makes it sound like there’s a clean reset button somewhere,
instead of dragging burnt ruins into a new room
and calling the smoke “growth.”
But sure.
Rebuilding from scratch.
Nothing says healing quite like becoming your own unpaid construction worker
after somebody else set the house on fire.

You hold the knife by the blade and still call it poetry —
but did I ever know how your throat got swollen
with words that never made it out alive?
How much dying it took
to make it look like art?
You speak of time
like it gently sands the sharp edges,
like it turns screams into signatures,
like suffering only needs patience
before it becomes beautiful.
Yet I look at the ruins of you
and cannot call it beauty.
Because it is still raw flesh:
shaking hands, sleepless nights,
half-finished confessions rotting in your mouth,
and a body still bleeding
for an audience you have not even learned to face.
