Local residents involved in construction work say that these scam groups are moving their bases to areas controlled by the DKBA, fearing that their business facilities will be damaged or destroyed in the conflict. Previously, the Myanmar military attacked the DKBA headquarters with artillery and used "Kamikaze" (suicide) drones to attack pagodas in the Pa'an mountains, causing Chinese operators involved in (online scams) to cease operations there. They have relocated to the Sonzii Mying headquarters and are moving to areas on the eastern side of Taung Ni, Wa Meit, and along the Wa Lei River. We are currently building structures for them in these areas," said a local construction worker. With the relocation of these online scam groups, new buildings are being constructed on the ridges along the Myawaddy-Pa'an road to provide accommodation.#Sonzii Mying residents report that Chinese citizens, other foreign nationals, and Myanmar citizens are gradually moving into these areas. "Sonzii Mying is also starting to see shops open. On the ridge of Taung Ni, a new scam hub called "Golden Taung Ni" has emerged, and people are moving there to live. These Chinese and businesses have relocated here because of the fighting in Kyauk, Pa'an, and Minlaban. Currently, the military government is using drones and heavy artillery to attack areas along the Myawaddy-Pa'an road where fighting is taking place.
