Thermal footage from Kherson Oblast shows a Russian S-300V long-range surface-to-air missile launcher being destroyed after a Ukrainian bomber drone managed to infiltrate more than 45 km (28 miles) behind the frontlines and drop grenades on the air defense system. So what The range that both Ukraine and Russia are getting out of small drones is impressive, it is almost certainly changing the battlefield forever. As demonstrated in this strike, a small cheaply produced drone can have a significant effect on a high value target. Denmark’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that the victims were from the Danish Refugee Council, with two humanitarian workers killed and five others injured. Despite the gear meant to conceal their heat signatures, the footage captures the drone targeting and hitting the frozen Russian infantrymen. So what This video highlights the horrors of drone warfare and the effectiveness of thermal drones Vs basically any heat signature. Even with equipment (of questionable quality) designed to mask heat signatures the soldiers are easy to identify and strike, limiting any assaults effectiveness. #hm #hmintelligence

Russia has deployed another batch of aging 60-year-old T-62 tanks, retrofitted with canopies and explosive reactive armor, and transported to the front lines by dedicated trains. So what While Russia has upgraded some aspects of this tank it is likely still vulnerable to FPV attacks. In Kherson Oblast, a Russian drone unit established a position atop a building in Hola Prystan, allegedly using it to launch “drone safari” missions against Ukrainian civilians north of the Dnipro River. The site was later struck by a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29, which deployed a JDAM-ER glide bomb to neutralize the team. So what The cost Vs benefit ratio of Ukrainian drone attacks are extremely efficient, especially when combined with the difficulty in replacing more sophisticated equipment such as helicopters.
