A major Ozon logistics hub in Chapayevsk, Samara Oblast, has been struck and set on fire for the first time. The facility covers around 135,000 m² and is one of the largest warehouse complexes in the Volga region. Ozon is Russia's second largest online marketplace after Wildberries, and runs a similarly massive logistics network across the country. #hm #hmintelligence #ozon #russia #drones

Ansar Allah, known as the Houthis, released a 10 minute video compilation showing attacks on Saudi backed forces and vehicles in Marib and along Yemen's western coast, carried out using dropped grenades and mortar rounds from quadcopters and hexacopters. In one of the attacks shown, Houthi drone operators dropped a mortar round onto a Saudi M1A2S Abrams main battle tank, causing the ammunition stored in the turret bustle to detonate. #hm #hmintelligence

Turkey has sent a large force of armored vehicles and tanks, reported as 200 to 250 armored vehicles and 20 tanks, into the western south region of Syria, following the recent Israeli strike. The move is being seen as a strong signal of Turkey's growing presence and influence in Syria. #hm #hmintelligence

On 20 August 2026, a commercial vessel spotted a maritime drone drifting a few hundred metres from Romania's Neptun Deep gas platform in the Black Sea, about 80 nautical miles east of Constanța. Romania scrambled two F-16 fighter jets, and one destroyed the drone with its onboard cannon, the first time the Romanian Air Force has used cannon fire or engaged a maritime drone. Defence Minister Radu Miruță said the drone was loaded with explosives and confirmed, through contact with Ukraine, that it was not Ukrainian, without stating its origin. President Nicușor Dan blamed Russia, condemning what he called an escalation of irresponsible incidents by the Russian Federation. #hm #hmintelligence

Russian forces have reportedly covered a UAZ-452 "Bukhanka" vehicle with mirrored panels, which may be an attempt to counter drones that use optical or AI assisted guidance.
