#biology It is useful to understand the concept of natural selection for some passages about biology and evolution 📌

Natural selection is the process where animals or plants with helpful traits are more likely to survive and reproduce, passing those traits on. 🌱🦁 Examples of natural selection: 1. Birds with stronger beaks can eat hard seeds, so they survive better than birds with weak beaks. 🐦🥜 2. In a forest, green insects are harder for predators to see, so more green insects survive than brown ones. 🐛🌳 3. Fast rabbits can escape predators more easily, so their speed trait is passed to their babies. 🐇💨 4. Fish that can tolerate warmer water survive heat waves, while others die. 🐟🔥 5. Plants with deeper roots survive droughts, so they are more likely to reproduce. 🌵💧
