🔸 OpenAI released new math results from an unreleased internal frontier model, with the average result using roughly three hours of ChatGPT Pro thinking. Heavier reasoning workloads mean more demand for AI compute.
🔸 The US trade deficit widened to $105.6B in August vs $102B expected on AI build-out imports, the steepest since the all-time gap in March 2025. Goldman cut its Q3 GDP tracking to 3.1%.
🔸 Google signed for 3,590 MW of Constellation power, including 890 MW of new nuclear capacity on a 20-year contract, and CEG jumped 14%. AI demand is now underwriting new nuclear power.
🔸 DeepSeek is weighing doubling its funding round to as much as 100 billion yuan ($14.9B) at about a $75B valuation, sources told CNBC. More state-backed money is flowing into China's AI race.

🔸 Cardano's CIP-0113 token standard is live on the network after independent security audits, letting issuers add KYC checks, transfer limits and freeze or seizure rules to their tokens.

The block and the payload are split, and clients can execute in parallel.
