We have concluded our 'Dignity in Action' project with the donation of the sanitary pads collected from you!
The sanitary pads were delivered at the Ministry of Education to be distributed to students in need across the country. We can't help but look back at all the effort that went into our donation drives and how much we were able to accomplish through them!
We have made an impact through our dedication, and showed what’s possible when we Unite For Good.

(ሐምሌ 29/2018 ዓ.ም) የሴቶችና ማህበራዊ ጉዳዮች አካቶ ትግበራ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ ወ/ሮ ምህረተ ክርስቶስ ታምሩ በዚሁ ጊዜ እንደገለጹት የንጽህና መጠበቂያ ቁሳቁሶች እጥረት ሴት ተማሪዎች ከትምህርት ገበታ እንዲቀሩና እንዲያቋርጡ ከሚያደርጉ ምክንያቶች አንዱ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።
በትምህርት ቤቶች የንጽህና መጠበቂያ ቁሳቁሶች መኖር ሴት ልጆች ወደ ትምህርት ቤት መጥተው በቆይታቸው ሳይጨነቁና ሳይሳቀቁ በትምህርታቸው ላይ ብቻ እንዲያተኩሩና ውጤታማ እንዲሆኑ እንደሚያስችል ተናግረዋል።
በአዲሱ የትምህርት አዋጅም በትምህርት ቤት ውስጥ እድሜያቸው የደረሱ ሴት ልጆች ሁሉ የንጽህና መጠበቂያዎችን ማግኘት እንዲችሉ በህግ መደንገጉንም ወ/ሮ ምህረተ ክርስቶስ ጠቁመዋል።
በመንግስት አቅም ብቻ አቅም ለሌላቸው ሴት ተማሪዎችን የንጽህና መጠበቂያ አቅርቦት ችግሮችን ማሟላት ስለማይቻል የህብረተሰቡ ተሳትፎ በተለይም እንደ ሮተሪ ኢንተራክት ክለብ ያሉ ወጣቶች በበጎ ፈቃድ ተነሳስተው የሚያደርጉት ድጋፍ ወሳኝ መሆኑን ጠቅሰዋል።

| 19 |  We are proud to share that our Interact Club has officially contributed 10,000 birr to the Cardiac Center of Ethiopia (CCE) 🫀💙
This donation was made as part of our signature project and in support of patients receiving cardiac treatment and care.
Seeing the impact of the work being done at CCE reminded us that even small contributions can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
Thank you to everyone who took part and helped us make this happen. We truly appreciate every support that went into this project 🫶💕💕

| 20 |  +6As our Interact Club’s signature project this year, we visited the Cardiac Center of Ethiopia (CCE) to see the work being done for patients with heart conditions 🫀💙
In line with Rotary Youth Service Month, we were reminded of the role young people play in community service and impact.
During our visit, we also learned about the ongoing “83814 – OK” SMS donation campaign that supports cardiac patients through small public contributions, and we are planning to take part in promoting it as part of our upcoming activities.
Alongside this, our club contributed 10,000 birr to support patients in need of treatment. It was a meaningful experience that stayed with us.❤️❤️❤️
