Honestly, why the Lazarus Group represents some of the most experienced and valuable actors in the current cyber-threat landscape - these are the "old-school" #hackers who spent 10, 15, or even 20 years writing #code by hand (and I don't just mean #malwaredev, I'm thinking about #hacking, managing C2 infrastructure, and so on), poring over technical documentation, and #debugging late into the night 🌙 This experience is crucial: without it, you wouldn’t even know what to ask an LLM, how to verify if its output actually constitutes a valid #exploit, or how to determine what quality benchmarks to set. As for the new "juniors" entering the #cybersec (or #cybercrime) field right now - that's a massive question mark. Unfortunately, they aren't getting the chance to learn how to write code or manually conduct infrastructure #pentesting, instead, they're pressured to deliver quick results using AI agents. They never gain the necessary hands-on experience - the AI ​​agents take all the "bumps and bruises" for them. It's unclear how they will manage #cybersecurity in the future. But the market has already shifted, broken, and changed forever. We're simply adapting as fast as we can and waiting to see where this all leads. #research #APT #threatintel #hacking
