Around the same time, he watched public statements claiming the CIA had no knowledge of torture programs. "They lied on camera. Explaining why he is speaking now, he says a declassification order changed everything. According to him, remaining silent would no longer protect national security but instead protect those responsible. He claims to possess twelve years of memories, dates, locations, names, and video recordings allegedly stored in three different countries.
