( I gave a monologue) Why are civil servants risk averse. Why do they even follow rules. They are hindernace in the development process. Felt like it was combination of both the mocks I gave at samkalp. Most of the daf/delhi questions were repeated. Saket sir of civilsdaily was really helpful throughout. It is said that Indian Labour code was heavily influence from Labour code of Tatas, do you know elements of Tata Labour Code from 1850s → I said I am not aware of exact provisions but I am aware of things like better working conditions, creche facility, he then explained even the fixed working hours comes from there 3. (To ease burden on utilities of the cities) → I mentioned easing water burden through recycling, focusing on renewable energy → He said you are a planner give me broader elements which can be brought in and don’t limit yourself to Mumbai lets consider Aurangabad instead → I said I am only able to think of granular elements not the broad ones → He then gave hints → Talked about Developing satellite towns instead, from there I identified Robust Public Transport, then I said we can also go for elements like captive solar power plants, he said energy is not an issue rather issue is infrastructure like transmission lines 9. Don’t you think these satellite towns will then face burden? → I said infrastructure development will bring migration as we need workers for creation of infrastructure and utilities but if all cities are well developed migrants will go back to their cities and that will ease the burden

Chairman- Q1- XYZ you read contemporary fiction, am very curious to know who is your fav author? A- sir chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Q2- ohh have u read her latest one? A- I said no. Sir. He replied you must, but it's quite a thick one. Everyone smiled. Member 1- Q1- so XYZ you also do reflective journaling what is it? Q2- so you post it at the end of the day? Q3- so govt is talking about viksit bharat these day, what is VB for you? Q4- do you only see it in economic terms or as a whole- i.e social, political, economic. Member2 Q1- XYZ you have worked in the banking sector for 9 years-- A- I said no sir, other member corrected him that she has worked for around 1.5 yrs. Q2- okay suppose you have worked for 6 years, answer why the MSME sector faces issue in getting credit, suppose  you are a branch manager in SBI, why would you hesitate to give loan to an MSME- and what measure can be taken by the govt as well as the industries to improve it.? Q2- counter q- he gave a suggestion for a govt backed fund - I agreed with it and said govt is already implementing it eg- MUDRA. Q2- you are currently in MoSPi and there is rev in the CPI index, what are the major changes in it? Q3- why do you think there is a need for this revision? Q4- you talked about global supply chain can you tell us about apple and India's role in its supply chain. Member 4 Q1- XYZ you talked about GDP growth rate and the changes introduced in it, but there is a criticism in India's gdp growth rate, why do you think it is? Q2- you have worked in the govt. Administration, tell us what are issues that you have faced and what are the issues you would like to address? Q3- do you think the experience of people visiting the govt offices is nice, and how can you improve it. Q4-he gave a monologue on cleanliness than asked do you think we keep our govt offices clean?
