The animal of the day is the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. The word Corgi is Welsh and it means "dwarf dog" which is totally adorable. The Corgi was very popular with English royalty and his lineage can be traced back almost a thousand years. Despite being a cute little guy, yes he is, yes he is, the Corgi was very often used as a herding dog for his remarkable agility.
