| 12 | When I sized into $BASECAT and started hard shilling it, it briefly ran from ~$28m to $32m, then nuked to a ~$17m bottom. I looked stupid for a while.
Since then, it’s done roughly 3x from the lows and, in my view, is still primed for a much larger repricing.
Same thing happened with $PONS.
At $30m, the timeline was full of FUD. Now, after the move, some of the same people who sold the bottom are waiting for a dip so they can size back in at multiples of the valuation.
Funny how markets work. Conviction looks irrational before the repricing and obvious afterwards.
That’s why whenever I hard shill something, I’m perfectly comfortable looking silly for a few days or weeks. If the thesis hasn’t changed, price action alone isn’t going to shake me out.
Am I right every time? Obviously not. But when I have conviction, I’m willing to sit through the period where nobody else sees it yet.
That is literally the point of this challenge: take a page from the Unipics playbook, build concentrated positions in a few high-conviction bags, and actually HOLD them long enough to give the thesis a chance to play out.
Before Unipics joined FOMO, onchain trading had conditioned people to expect constant rotation. KOLs would enter, their copy traders would pile in, liquidity would get rinsed, and everyone would move to the next ticker.
Then one person ran a FOMO account to eight figures in roughly three months and reminded everyone of something incredibly simple:
Sometimes the biggest edge is just buying the right thing and refusing to sell it too early.
That brings me to $RAWR.
My thesis is straightforward: the first compelling Google-paired memestock on Base.
Look at the pattern.
Robinhood had the NVIDIA pair, $AI, become its major nine-figure memestock runner.
Binance had the SpaceX pair, $MARSCOIN, become its major nine-figure runner.
If tokenized stocks/memestock pairs really become one of Base’s defining metas this cycle, I think Base eventually produces its own nine-figure runner too.
My bet is that it won’t simply recycle the exact ticker that already won somewhere else. Each ecosystem seems to gravitate toward a distinct pairing that becomes synonymous with that chain.
NVIDIA has already had its moment.
SpaceX has already had its moment.
Google hasn’t.
That’s why I’m betting on $RAWR.
Could I be wrong? Absolutely. But the narrative is clear enough, the asymmetry is interesting enough, and I have enough conviction to let the trade breathe.
We caught $PONS. We caught $BASECAT.
Now I’m planting my flag on $RAWR.
