16	#Others 🦦 AITA for getting mad For context, I was playing mlbb with my bsf and this one classmate of hers, let’s call him Xyz. She plays Floryn FYI We played a round of ranked, he played jungler and I was the gold laner. The thing about me and her was, no matter what, she will always give the buff to me. I’m not a bad player, I dare say I’m good at ML As per usual, she gave me the buff. But in the early game, due to infrequent visits from the roamer and mid laner + frequent ganks in my lane as I was dominating and the opponent mm was behind in farm, I started underperforming. Because of that, during mid game, Xyz told her to “Give me the buff”. I initially thought nothing of it because she didn’t reply. Something similar to this happened before and she knows that it will upset me, so I assumed she knew better than to change the buff recipient to someone else. But I was surely mistaken. Nearing late game, I noticed the buff wasn’t on me, that’s when I knew she listened to him and removed the buff. The reason I’m angry is not because she gave someone else the buff, it is the implications behind it. If I were her and someone were to ask me to give them the buff instead, I would definitely have questioned what they meant by that. Are u implying my friend suck? Are u implying u are better than her? What makes u think I’ll give u the buff over her? As a best friend it is such a no brainer to me to react this way. Do also keep in mind we are infrequent players currently playing in mythic lobby, not even MH MG MI. I felt so embarrassed and humiliated to see even my best friend had no faith in my skills and listened to a fucking boy classmate she barely knew over her best friend of basically 6 years. I admit he is a good player too, but I was carrying for all of the rounds we played that day, and was the MVP for that match as well. “Ranked games objective is to win!” She don’t even care for rank, she don’t take it seriously. She is a 1T Floryn who only plays when I do. Despite me underperforming I was still doing relatively well, not to mention.
