Sooo I’ve read abt Attete like long time ago )also if u don’t know abt it …

Atete is basically a traditional Oromo female spiritual figure. She’s associated with fertility, motherhood, protection, and women’s strength. Back then, women also held Atete ceremonies to pray, support each other, and even speak up about injustice. It’s a really important part of Oromo culture and history.

Also read a poem “አቴቴ ዱብራ ኦሮሞ” በሎሬት ፀጋዬ ገብረ መድህን …that’s why I wanna watch the documentary

Also was sitting here and thinking (simple thought) I think everyone should leave the place they grew up at least once….. Not because home is a bad place or like that but because it’s hard to know which parts of you are really you, and which parts were simply built by the environment you never had the chance to question…. Sometimes the only way to meet yourself is to become a stranger somewhere else.
