Evaluated script of Test 5 (Day 5) posted at @sociomentor2 Tomorrow next Thinkers unit , test No 6( Max Weber). Weber was one of the founder of Interpretative sociology. Focused on Meaning, action , and understanding society. Weber's core idea was Sociology should not just explain, but also understand ( verstehen) social action." Verstehen( Interpretative Understanding) "Understanding the subjective meaning behind actions." For Weber concepts you can remember SAVIRPV Social Action Authority Verstehen Ideal type Rationalization Protestant Ethic Value Neutrality. Thus Weber's analysis reveals that while rationalization enhances efficiency, it also risks trapping individuals in an " iron cage" of control and loss of freedom."
