50' Should be 3. Heaven gives it away and Lammens makes a great save to deny Bournemouth again #mufc

🚨🎙️ | Senne Lammens: “Last season I felt like playing-wise maybe we played BETTER this season, but last season everything just CLICKED and went the right way for us. “We struggled as a team together when they pressed us, but we didn't concede that many goals. “We did REALLY WELL, but you also know, I think everybody knew that we had to improve as well from that & that teams were going to change the way they played against us, so that's why we had to EVOLVE this season.” [DanyalHKhan]

🚨🚨🎙️| Michael Carrick after Manchester United’s 4-1 defeat to Como in the Champions League. “I’ll 100% take responsibility for the overall team and the performance. That’s where it stops. It stops with me.” “To see a performance like that is unacceptable.” “A lot of it’s the motivation and the intention and the purpose and the intensity of a game of football that you have to bring. We didn’t bring that today.” “You can’t turn it on and off, and you can’t choose when you want to perform and when you don’t want to perform.” “I’ve got to apologise for the performance. There’s no excuses at all.” Q: When asked whether he still expects the club’s backing: “It’s not about me. It’s about digesting the game.”

Full-time. Thoughts?

1-1

Michael Carrick on Rashford: “I think he's done a lot of good things, Marcus. He obviously had the slight kind of injury where he pulled out for England. He's managed that a little bit but he's doing some good things and just not quite getting that little bit of a break, putting himself in good positions and has had some opportunities. He had one the other night maybe that he'd feel he probably could have done better with. But he's in there to make a difference. He keeps doing the right things. Then, you know, you get the rewards in the end. So, as long as he keeps doing that, he'll be okay.”

🚨💣 BREAKING: LISANDRO MARTINEZ CALLS OUT THE MAN UTD BOARD: "I expect more from our technical director, I have to be honest.” Martinez on if Carrick got backed: "I don’t think so [he was backed]. He did his best. If you don’t change, next season it’s a big problem. You keep changing managers but what about other areas? It’s easy to say the coach, the players, but also we have to see others, huh?"

Defeat on the road. Thoughts?

Leny Yoro asked if the players have discussed among themselves about the poor start to the season: "It's something very important, as a team. We have to speak the truth, it's something we did, and we will do in the future." Yoro on playing at right back: "It's a position I can play. If I play centre back or right back, I'm happy to play. Different things to do of course, but you have to adapt. Whatever the position, I'm ready and happy to play." Yoro: "I trust the team. I trust us for the next game to move on and do better, but honestly I'm not worried about it. Every team can have a bad first part of the season. It's something we're ready for." Yoro on learning off senior defenders: "Yeah they've helped a lot, for me to improve every day. Especially in training, they talk a lot with me, they help me a lot to improve." #mufc

Something Spezial is coming 👀

Manchester United coaches believe Noah Ajayi could be the academy’s next BIG THING. Coaches have huge belief that Ajayi is a gem. He is viewed as a prospect for the first-team, not in the near future, but eventually down the line as he follows the development plan laid out for him. The 6ft 2in forward has the frame to become a Premier League player. Rightly or wrongly, in England some young players do not progress because of their stature, but Ajayi has the frame to eventually compete in the men's game. His acceleration and pace are huge assets. The ball sticks to his boot when he runs, and his finishing is another strength. He has all the tools that a modern forward needs, which is why coaches are so excited about his potential.
