had a series of decent cooks in the past few months and days, most of which I scanned in my personal chat and some other decent chats I’m in. ik I haven’t shared a lot here lately, mostly because the trenches became kind of a hit or miss zone with some plays ——— PvPs being the primary root/cause of this situation. Some things I’ve learnt tho •There’ll always be PvPs. You might be in a good narra, and be so sure it’ll cook, but end up getting PvPed cos they got the name wrong or sumn. Focus should mainly be on what you can control in such situations; placing a bet on all the PvPs (mostly only if it’s a really good narra). This might be tricky especially if your port is thin. But bidding bottomed out chart on these type of plays has proven to be effective. •There’ll always be bundles (aka mfers with close to 6-10% spread across more than one wallet). This might be good if it’s a good bundle, but when is a bundle ever good if the goal was max rape? If narra is good enough, play should run regardless, might likely be decent group of lads controlling the supply. •Wallet tracking is ass. Esp since this influences how people trade, copy traders (CT) in this context. Have a few good wallets you track mainly for pings. Don’t buy on green candles only, study the art of bidding bottomed charts. A solid narra would always have you front running these so called CT candles mfers glorify. •Learn to study metas; a good play might spawn when not in meta, but would slow cook as long as narra is really good. Always good to pay attention to these typa plays as well. on a side note, there’s been like 3/4 typa plays lately •X plays (viral) —— Most often, viral tweets spawn on X, which usually gets tokenized. It has to be memeable, something CT can relate to or create memes around. Something bigger players/accounts can interact with (catalysts). •TikTok (viral) —— this is often where the brainrot typa plays gets spawned from. Cult typa plays included, and viral clips that the world resonate with being tokenized. •Cult/Cabal —— could either spawn from X/tiktok plays. The typa plays where the template provided has huge meme potential with folks either personalizing or tweaking based off the initial post. •News —— these are the most volatile; the ones you treat as pure gambles. Not a fun path in the long run. Trenches might be a lot cooked lately, and the playing field is also a lot tougher than it used to be due to saturation and lil volume of normies, but “when others complain, you adapt” oh there are pvps —— position in all the pvps if it’s a really good narra. oh I’m getting raped on new pairs —— you don’t wanna be in from the first run, these charts have similar patterns; if narra is good enough, it runs a bit, cools off (bottoms out) and gears up for the next leg. oh I’m always blowing my port —— it’s easy to get carried away by the wins of others. But this should be a reminder that “it’s possible”. Stick to your goals/preset rules. Don’t oversize in plays (nothing is certain/guaranteed), and stay consistent (luck favors the prepared mind). learn when to watch from the sidelines too, not necessarily taking a break, but trading a little less, when you see little vol in the trenches (Mfers scalping shitters with size) —— this is most often when plays peak a lot faster than they should. And finally, risk management is key —— saying this more from a personal perspective. I’ve grown my port to a decent size and lost it all more times than I can count this year. Brings us back to the statement, “ctrl”. You might be having a good time in the trenches, and just a single bad day or week, with the wrong type of risk management would sweep out your efforts. Learnt to control such situations; ik easier said than done, but there’s a certain form of experience that teaches some kind of lessons that last. Kind of a preparation for when you hit that nasty lick as long as you’re consistent.
