Police At the Odda roadblock in Moyale, have arrested 45-year-old Caroline Thiunguri Kabonyi, suspected of drug trafficking. During a routine search of a Marsabit-bound vehicle, she resisted being searched, raising suspicion among officers. A medical examination revealed she was hiding eight pellets of coc, totaling 414 grams, in her private parts. The coc, valued at approximately Sh1,656,000, has been secured as evidence, while Caroline awaits court proceedings at Moyale Police Station. This incident follows the arrest of another woman, Jane Njeri Muigai, who was caught with 294 grams of coc concealed similarly. She was apprehended during a bus inspection heading to Nairobi, and is also being processed by anti-narcotics officials.
