1. What do Tableau's sets and groups mean? Data is grouped using sets and groups according to predefined criteria. The primary distinction between the two is that although a set can have only two options—either in or out—a group can divide the dataset into several groups. A user should decide which group or sets to apply based on the conditions. 3.What do you mean by a Bag of Words (BOW)? It is used for word frequency or occurrences to train a classifier. It contains a text representation that describes the frequency with which words appear in a document. It has two steps: -A list of terms that are well-known. -A metric for determining the existence of well-known terms. 3. What are Nested Triggers? Triggers may implement DML by using INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements. These triggers that contain DML and find other triggers for data modification are called Nested Triggers. 4. What is a True positive rate and a false positive rate? True positive rate or Recall: It gives us the percentage of the true positives captured by the model out of all the Actual Positive class. TPR = TP/ (TP+FN) False Positive rate: It gives us the percentage of all the false positives by my model prediction from the all Actual Negative class. FPR = FP/(FP+TN)

Kaggle Datasets are often too perfect for real-world scenarios. I'm about to share a method for real-life data analysis. You see … … most of the time, a data analyst cleans and transforms data. So … let’s practice that. How? Well … you can use ChatGPT. Just write this prompt: Create a downloadable CSV dataset of 10,000 rows of financial credit card transactions with 10 columns of customer data so I can perform some data analysis to segment customers. Now… Download the dataset and start your analysis. You'll see that, most of the time… … numbers don’t match. There are no patterns. Data is incorrect and doesn’t make sense. And that’s good. Now you know what a data analyst deals with. Your job is to make sense of that dataset. To create a story that justifies the numbers. This is how you can mimic real-life work using A.I.

Machine learning powers so many things around us – from recommendation systems to self-driving cars! But understanding the different types of algorithms can be tricky. This is a quick and easy guide to the four main categories: Supervised, Unsupervised, Semi-Supervised, and Reinforcement Learning. 𝟏. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 In supervised learning, the model learns from examples that already have the answers (labeled data). The goal is for the model to predict the correct result when given new data. 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞: ➡️ Linear Regression – For predicting continuous values, like house prices. ➡️ Logistic Regression – For predicting categories, like spam or not spam. ➡️ Decision Trees – For making decisions in a step-by-step way. ➡️ K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) – For finding similar data points. ➡️ Random Forests – A collection of decision trees for better accuracy. ➡️ Neural Networks – The foundation of deep learning, mimicking the human brain. 𝟐. 𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 With unsupervised learning, the model explores patterns in data that doesn’t have any labels. It finds hidden structures or groupings. 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞: ➡️ K-Means Clustering – For grouping data into clusters. ➡️ Hierarchical Clustering – For building a tree of clusters. ➡️ Principal Component Analysis (PCA) – For reducing data to its most important parts. ➡️ Autoencoders – For finding simpler representations of data. 𝟑. 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢-𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 This is a mix of supervised and unsupervised learning. It uses a small amount of labeled data with a large amount of unlabeled data to improve learning. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐢-𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞: ➡️ Label Propagation – For spreading labels through connected data points. ➡️ Semi-Supervised SVM – For combining labeled and unlabeled data. ➡️ Graph-Based Methods – For using graph structures to improve learning. 𝟒. 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 In reinforcement learning, the model learns by trial and error. It interacts with its environment, receives feedback (rewards or penalties), and learns how to act to maximize rewards. 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞: ➡️ Q-Learning – For learning the best actions over time. ➡️ Deep Q-Networks (DQN) – Combining Q-learning with deep learning. ➡️ Policy Gradient Methods – For learning policies directly. ➡️ Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) – For stable and effective learning. ENJOY LEARNING 👍👍

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐭? Here's a step-by-step guide for the same: Step 1️⃣ - Download a practice dataset. I'd recommend the Codebasics resume project challenge dataset (as it contains multi-table datasets). Step 2️⃣ - Open your preferred RDBMS tool (SQL server/MySQL). Create a local database to load the dataset. Step 3️⃣ - Import the practice dataset (.xlsx/.csv) into this database by creating the tables (please google if you need help). Step 4️⃣ - Now open Power BI desktop and connect to the local database using the appropriate connector. Step 5️⃣ - Build the dashboard using the questions shared in the resume project challenge. Step 6️⃣ - Now, you can validate the output of your dashboard by writing SQL queries. Step 7️⃣ - Try to write an SQL query for a question asked in the challenge. You need to convert a natural language question into an SQL query. Step 8️⃣ - Compare the query output with the dashboard output and check if the numbers are matching. If they aren't matching, either the query is wrong or the dashboard numbers are wrong. Hence, try to identify the gap. Step 9️⃣ - Repeat the process for every question asked in the challenge. Thus, you will learn and practice both SQL and Power BI simultaneously. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝? In real-world scenarios, 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is a very important step in every analytics project. One needs to compare the output of the report/dashboard with the data source and then launch it for usage, to avoid discrepancies. This will help you weed out any mistakes that you have applied in your report/dashboard logic. Best Telegram Channel for Data Analysts: https://t.me/sqlspecialist
