Luke Belmar manufactures his controversy.
he launched his new ecom community 6 days after getting sued.
allegations of:
scamming
fraud
lies
and hundreds of people are still signing up.
coincidence? think about it:
on October 25, Steve Tan posts for the first time in over a year, attacking Luke.
2 days later, he posts a full lawsuit.
and then on October 31, Luke releases his new ecom group
claiming “8 months of hard work” were put into it.
8 months and he decides to launch it 6 days after a lawsuit was filed against him?
everyone in marketing understands that all attention is positive.
(if youre smart about it)
the only people who care about this lawsuit are those who already disliked him.
but when 800,000 people see a lawsuit, they go check out Luke.
his youtube
his twitter
his instagram
all get more views.
but there's another thing:
Steve Tan posts for the first time in over a year.
why now? If this was really about justice, why wait?
My guess: Steve needed the attention too.
Or Luke paid him to do it.
Either way, they both won.
the truth is that very few of his supporters will change sides.
and his haters were never going to buy anyway.
To be clear: I know very little about the whole situation and where the truth actually lies,
But I’m not convinced that any of this timing was a coincidence.
