I extend my warmest felicitations to the Governing Council, Management, staff, students, alumni, and the entire YABATECH community as we celebrate Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
This significant milestone calls for renewed patriotism and a stronger commitment to national development. As an institution at the forefront of technical and technological education, YABATECH remains dedicated to producing skilled, innovative, and responsible graduates who will drive industrial growth, strengthen our economy, and contribute to the sustainable development of our nation.

| 7 | YABATECH EMPOWERS YOUNG LEARNERS WITH SUBSIDISED SUMMER SKILLS TRAINING
Under my leadership, Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) continues to prioritise practical education, skills development and youth empowerment as key pillars of our institutional transformation agenda.
As part of the College’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we have commenced subsidised Skills Development Training programmes for primary and secondary school students during the summer holidays.
Three specialised skills hubs within the College are participating, offering a diverse range of practical and creative skills designed to help young learners discover their talents and develop useful competencies from an early age.
This initiative reflects our commitment to extending the impact of YABATECH beyond the classroom and contributing meaningfully to the development of the next generation.
I encourage parents and guardians to take advantage of these opportunities for their wards. Details of the available programmes and participation are contained in the accompanying flyers.
We are not only educating for today; we are equipping the leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

Good evening, esteemed members of the Academic Board.
Our attention has been drawn to a *fraudulent circular* currently in circulation.
The circular purports to have emanated from the Office of the Registrar and claims that examinations have been postponed to *July 6, 2026*.
Kindly note that the said circular dated June 27, 2026 is FAKE and did not emanate from the Office of the Registrar.
Examinations will commence as approved by the Academic Board, Tomorrow June 29, 2026.
