If marine animals could speak, what do you think they would say to humans?

I'm sure you've seen and heard name of these creatures in IELTS readings.

Morning Talkers! What about the marine content today?

— thought experiment — an imagined situation used to explore an idea or concept — constituting — forming or making up something — commerce (with the world) — interaction or exchange with the surrounding world — versatile — able to do many different things; having many uses capable of — having the ability to do something — caregivers(care+give..) — people who take care of others (usually children) — optimal — the best or most effective possible — pivotal — extremely important; — infantile (brain areas) — relating to babies or very early stages of development

Thought experiment: What would life be like if you did not have a sense of touch? Our skin is our largest sense organ, constituting 16 to 18 percent of adult body weight, and we rely on it heavily in our commerce with the world. Touch is a versatile sense, capable of delivering and receiving complex and nuanced information. Touching is available to us long before language, and our initial interactions with our environment—parents, caregivers, objects—rely heavily on touch. In fact, optimal child development is dependent in part on touch. As Polish psychologist Agnieszka Sorokowska and colleagues write: “During childhood, gentle parental touch is pivotal for socio-emotional development … and the amount of maternal touch predicts the development of infantile social brain areas.”
