Time moves slower at the top of a skyscraper than at the bottom.
There are more trees on Earth than stars in the Milky Way.
Your brain can survive for several minutes after your heart stops.

Министр образования США Линда Макмахон направила официальное письмо в Гарвардский университет, где сообщила, что вуз больше не будет финансироваться государством.
Но вместо формального ответа администрация университета вернула документ с правками орфографических и пунктуационных ошибок.
Затем исправленное письмо Гарвард опубликовал в своих соцсетях, намекая на несоответствие министра базовым стандартам грамотности.

As IELTS now exclusively uses pens here are some tips to keep your answer sheet clean, your brain calm, and your score high:
1. Write clearly (but fast).
Your handwriting doesn’t need to win awards, but it should be readable. Examiners aren’t mind readers, sadly.
2. Accept that mistakes happen – learn to slash & rewrite neatly.
Don’t panic if you mess up! Just draw a single line through the error and write the correct word nearby. No crazy scribbles. Examiners appreciate clarity.
3. Plan before writing.
In Writing Task 1 and 2, take 3-5 mins to brainstorm and outline your points. Fewer random thoughts = fewer chances to mess up mid-sentence.
4. Practice under real conditions.
Train your hand and brain by doing full IELTS Writing tests with a pen and on lined paper. You’ll get used to the timing and the feel of writing a full essay without CTRL+Z.
5. Watch your spelling and grammar as you go.
No erasing means you gotta catch mistakes in real time. Keep an eye on subject-verb agreement, articles, and spelling while writing.
6. Don’t cram your letters.
Leave a little space between words. When you rush, it gets messy, and if the examiner can’t read a word, you risk losing points for it.
