Guys, for those of you who are looking for a job, our company, Eaglepoint AI, has an opening. Search for it on LinkedIn. They have a really great environment, and they’re flexible 😊

The past few weeks have been a total mess. I’ve been all over the place. I’ve been trying to deliver high-quality tasks at work, building the AfriQueue project, and also working on a client project ELDCP (Ethiopian Data Collection Platform) for AI training. And now classes are starting 😭 I’m exhausted.
Once I wrap up this Upwork thing, I’m going to adjust my schedule and reduce my workload. I can barely even learn new things these days 😭

I had plans for the break, go to Dire, watch a series movie, read a book, but none of it happened. It ended before I even realized 😭😭

Little bro tip guys, If you need to take a break, take it. Don’t push yourself to the extreme, there’s a point where your mind just stops working properly. Rest, then come back.
Yesterday I was working on some challenging tasks the language was go. I finished 2 of them in about 9 hours… but then I got stuck on the last one and kept pushing for like 6 hours until midnight even then I didn't solve it.
I slept, woke up today, and understood it right away, solved it in like 30 min. I realized I wasn’t being productive… I was just obsessed with finishing.
I even have this rule, if I don’t finish at least 2 tasks in a day, I won’t eat lunch 😅
Yesterday I ate at like 11 LT… and honestly.
So the moral of the story taking rest someimes is the fastest way to finish things, Hope someone finds this useful 😊

One of the craziest project ideas I tried to build was a rating site for AAU girl students after watching The Social Network 😂
I even tried to find a way to get the girls’ pictures. It was last year though 😁

This channel is definitely one of the best things I’ve ever started, and it’s not just because of the amazon prime gift 😁 lol
I get jobs because of it, I’ve met amazing people and fellow devs, it helps me level up as a dev, and it’s been great for building my personal brand too.
As you know, I’ve been posting different contents every day without skipping a single day for 6+ months now, and I’ll keep doing it. We’ll learn, grow, and have fun together 😂

I didn’t expect Express.js to be this slow compared to Fastify, Fastify hits ~15.4k while Express is around 10k, requests per second.

Article of the day
people keep mixing up Node Cluster module and Worker Threads module, so here’s the vibe check.
Cluster is like cloning your entire node app a few times. each clone is its own process, its own event loop, its own memory, all listening on the same port using a master cluster. great when your server is getting hit by many requests and you just want to spread the load across CPU cores. one worker crashes, the others keep working. however, they don’t share memory, so if they need to talk, it’s via IPC or some external store. Also yeah… more memory.
Worker Threads are more like roommates in the same apartment. same process, different threads. perfect for heavy CPU stuff that would otherwise freeze the event loop and ruin everyone’s day. they can share or pass buffers around, which is fast, but you have to find a way to deal with concurrent memry access and, if one crashed all goes down.
