Let’s try to put everything in order:
1. A year ago, Telegram unilaterally decided to ban all apps within Telegram that use payments in TON and required us to add Stars, which have nothing to do with TON or cryptocurrencies in general.
At the same time, almost 90% of the audience that came from collaborations with other projects—where paid advertising integrations were used—turned out to be bots. This once again confirmed our decision that this entire space was a big and rather strange bubble, participation in which carries serious risks for both reputation and business.
We value loyalty and truly appreciate our community.
2. We lost several months and several hundred thousand dollars for nothing. Fortunately, we don’t have external investors, and as a large holding we can afford such mistakes.
As a result, we decided not to work with Telegram and the TON ecosystem and not to depend on the volatility of decisions made by these organizations.
3. We continued developing our products (Billion is not the only project in our portfolio).
However, development is now completely independent of third-party platforms and blockchains.
We also hold all the necessary licenses to operate in the fintech sector, as our parent company and core business focus is banking.
4. The project is well known among many major international services, providers, funds, and banks.

2. Due to recent policy changes in Telegram and TON, we’ve made a strategic decision to step away from developing within their ecosystem. Throughout the past year, we were forced to pivot multiple times due to critical shifts in Telegram and TON’s policies. As a result, we lost a significant amount of money investing in projects that were ultimately restricted or blocked by them.
We do not support this direction, as the crypto world stands for freedom and decentralization.
3. We’re still actively building — just like before.
